  • Best month to go on a cruise

    Hi all,

Just got back from my second cruise with Disney. I have to say I was disappointed this time around. There were just WAYYY too many people from everywhere, and too little staff to accommodate everyone's needs.
Anyways, when do you guys think its the best time to go on a disney cruise with lesser people?

Winter, when the weather is not warm for swimming and the beach at CC. Keep in mind that the ship is almost always nearly full, so there are no truly uncrowded times.

It's best to try to time your day to do things early or late, not when everyone else is doing it.

When my husband and I went on our Disney cruise we ended up staying in when everyone else was out, and staying out when everyone else was in. We spent very little time in the Bahamas and went to the pool instead, and almost had no one join us. We tried to go to some of the "whole boat" events, and found those to be too crowded, so we spent more time in the bar, pool, or room. On the day that we were at see we woke up late, scheduled a massage, and finally watched all the movies they offered in the theater. On our day in Castaway Cay we woke up "early" were the first ones on the island, had no trouble getting a couple of hammocks, and returned to the ship after lunch, as most of the people were just arriving.
