Very interesting! I think it is also possible that Disney is considering buying Europa park. They seem to be on a buying binge. I've never been to Europa Park, but could this possibly be a good tie-in for the Marvel characters? It is my sneaking suspicion that Disney may be interested in buying various parks around the world and will use their new Marvel characters as a way to give these parks a boost and a ready made theme.

Disney is all about synergy and they know how important it is to give your characters life outside of the films and comics they reside in. That means theme park attractions, animated tv shows, lots of merchandise, and all sorts of cross marketing.

I hope your thoughts about a Splash Mountain for DLP are true as well.

      Very interesting indeed.

The prospect of Disney buying Europa and/or making a Splash Mtn. is intriguing.

Al Weiss was already in Papenburg, Germany for the keel laying of the cruise ship Disney Dream. Not a very long trip from there. So, I'm looking for Mack Rides to be involved with the cruise ship
