Yikes. From what I read it happened at a slow speed, no bad injuries reported, and a child is being treated for shock. But the google translation is poor and the news could be incorrect.

I was just coming in to post about this.

Here's another article (translated by Google Translate, which is not 100% accurate):

If two accidents on the same attraction in six months is "not a big problem" then please tell us what you think IS a big problem? Would you be happy to be quoted in the media that this accident is "not a big problem" for Euro Disney? Personally, I think that the real problem with Euro Disney/Disneyland Paris is the attitude that there is 'no problem'. This is why EDL makes no profit with at least one board member still there since the very start. It is also why we have no new attractions for the 20th anniversary and instead the PR department has to rely on news about Mickey-shaped pumpkins! Good job!

The way this is going somebody will soon die in that crappy not refurbished enough old coaster.

This accident is the strongest proof of that Walt Disney really is dead. The people that run DLP and the people that work there has no idea what Disney is and should be.
DLP is 20 years old and is still not making any real money... just WOW

...and then there is still another disaster worse than anything else:

@ChristianSylt @TimmyTimmyTimmy Were you there? No. I was. The incident was not a major incident. No one has been injured.

DisneylandParis ... I understand that you are an EDL employee ... but your posts on these boards sometimes read like the hysterics of a Groupie.

Back in late April you went all out to tell anybody who would listen that I was lying about what happened on the 25th April ... however would it surprise you to learn that the EDL Management Team including your CEO and COO eventually accepted my 'eyewitness' account absolutely?

That nobody died on the 25th April is down to sheer good luck and EDL can claim no credit for that. And, if the description given by TimmyTimmyTimmy of this most recent accident is correct, EDL have once again been very fortunate. Let's hope it isn't third time very unlucky for EDL Guests who ride the BTM!

Since you do not object, I presume you are happy for me to quote you by saying the following: 'one Euro Disney employee said that the derailment of its rollercoaster is "not a big problem."' If I write this I may inform Jeff Archambault and Laurent Manologlou in the communications department about the existence of this comment to see if it is in line with the company's view.

It would seem most logical for the company to consider any attraction malfunction to be a problem which needs rectification to prevent it from developing into something more serious. One does not need to be at the scene of the accident to know this. Indeed, by your own argument, since the management were not on-site at the time, they are not in a position to decide on the seriousness of the incident. The very fact that the ride has been closed (yet again) is proof that they are sufficiently concerned about what transpired. In itself this disproves your argument.

What I'm saying is that what we can read in the press is exaggerated. What you can read on DisneyandMore is totally not true! Anyway, you don't understand what I said obviously, sorry.
                              BTM reopens today.

Oh and by the way, the accident of April was not Disney's fault. But manufacturer's fault. Of course you'll say i'm lying but I don't care.
