  • [Question] Is that really the Dreamfinder???

I'm aware that people believe that Dreamfinder from the vastly superior 1st incarnation of EPCOT CENTERS: JOURNEY INTO IMAGINATION appears as the mayor of Thunder Mesa in Phantom Manor. I doubt its really him because the ride closed in 1998, Phantom Manor opened in 1992. Any confrontation is wanted.

P.S. Are the arcades Liberty and Discovery really old time arcades or just walkways lined with stores?

It may not be the same figure re-used, but Dreamfinder is definitively the facial mold used for the PM Mayor figure: Disney has done such before, both in Phantom Manor (with characters from Epcot's World of Motion), and in the Haunted Mansion, with facial sculpts from Pirates (the auctioneer character is also one of the duelists in HM).

They're walkways lined with stores. It provides a back entrance to the stores lining Main Street.

I took these photos in May 2011. I was fascinated by the arcades. They're SO convenient!
