A Lego Imagination Center just like in Downtown Disney will replace Hollywood Pictures and maybe also World of Toys. It will open at the end of this year in Disney Village, probably in December just before Christmas.

Re: Lego Imagination Center (opening fall 2012)
Now how did we not see that coming
i think it will be a good thing, will be interesting to see if they change the store fronts to the 'new' theme or just put up new signs. if they are planning to open by the end of the year, will the stores close as WOD opens, not too much time to get the job done for opening the end of the year
i will watch with interest. iam sure someone will be along soon to say its a bad idea and all TSPL fault

Something like this perhaps:
Then it would really be the Disney Village and not a street of the tacky and shameful.

In my opinion there is no need for such extensive theming of DV. The DTDs in the US or Ikspiari at TDR aren't highly themed. I think Disney should use the French Department Store theme they have used for WoDS for the rst of DV as well.
That would work fine, because the facade could be altered easily to match WoDS. Of course some buildings would stick out, like the Planet Hollywood or King Ludwig's Castle. I can live with that, because they need the corporate identity, especially PH.
