  • [Rumor] Jurassic Park Restaurant

    Disney Central Plaza

    Re: Jurassic Park Restaurant

I'm assuming they mean T-Rex, like what's at Downtown Disney in Orlando, because Universal owns the rights to Jurassic Park.

I love the Appletini at T-Rex i Orlando.

      This rumour is a missunderstanding.

I've got no problem with a T-Rex going in Val d'Europe, better there than in Disney Village... although as I type that I realise that if it was part of a Village expansion I might be persuaded otherwise.

I wouldn't mind to see that restaurant in Disney Village. Val D'Europe is bit too far away from most guests. Doesn't T-Rex belong to the same company that operates Rainforest Cafe?

Thanks! Isn't the Rainforest Cafe at DV operated by Group Flo under a licence agreement? For me it would make more sense to add the restuarant to DV, since it's definitely focused on families. Val D'Europe has a more adult look.

^Not sure on the agreement side of things if I'm honest.

I guess you are right, it would be better suited to the Village. I'm just being a little picky. We already have Rainforest Cafe, there's no need (for now) to have another similar venue. Then again, as I said above, if there was an extension to the Village, then maybe it would.

Actually, were could a T-Rex restaurant go in the current Village? My memory is sketchy, but there isn't much in the way of vacant spaces, least none of them big enough to take this dino-diner.

Isn't there some spare land next to the Mc Donalds, on the corner of the lake?
