You forgot to mention that no one on that website believes him at this point. Crisis averted.

Ha ha. We'll see. I don't see another name change. There is no basis for it this time like last time.

That logo looks very photoshopped...although a lot of the actual DLRP logos look photoshopped, LOL! I still think this is fake. The "15" is way too small, and "Magic Kingdom"? I'm sure they wouldn't use that name, since they would not want to generalize it and remove the "Disney" from the name. It would just add further confusion to most Europeans...what is "Magic Kingdom"?

I agree. I'm not in the least convinced that these logos are genuine, although the Disney Central Plaza forum has also put a couple of new Disney Village logos on display which look far more professional. They're also extremely ugly, so I hope they're not real!

                No, you got it wrong.

                The names are:

Euro Disneyland - April 1992 thru May 1994
Euro Disneyland Paris - June 1994 thru September 1994
Disneyland Paris - October 1994 thru December 2001
Parc Disneyland - January 2002 thru PRESENT

So assuming that name were adopted it would be the 5th name change in 15 years, giving the park an average of a new name every 3 years. This is probably just a wild rumor.

You'd have a major drop in tourists as the french hate "United Kingdom" and will mistake it for "Magic Kingdom"

P.S., Why is it they couldn't be consistent from day one?

The French won't mistake "Magic Kingdom" for "United Kingdom". They may eat snails, but they're not completely dense. Besides, it even rolls nicely in French: "Royaume Magique".

That said, I agree that changing the name again would be idiotic. And as for "why couldn't they be consistent from day one", it went wrong when they rebranded the entire resort. When the "Euro" was dropped out of the names of both Euro Disney Resort and Euro Disneyland, they no longer made a distinction between the name of the park and the name of the resort. Brochures referred to the park as "the Theme Park" when a distinction was necessary. I suppose the undertaking was profound and costly enough as it was without having to rebrand two things at once.

What's even worse is that I still have to correct people that the name has changed - even those who were 4 when it was changed. EuroDisney is so ingraned in everybody the resort will never loose that name and Heitage.

there is another logo floating round the net which is totally different as well (not the gate iron thingy its got the castle and looks like 5 miniutes work). to be honest i knew eurodisney became disneyland paris, didnt know it had changed receintly, whats wrong with disneyland paris anyway as a name

ps like this logo and the iron gatey thingy best, just wish they wont change the name, though i guess name change= problems solved is the mantra of the resort, wonder how many signs would swop over though, i mean the discovery mountain and euro disney logo is still everywhere.
