I hate when this kind of stuff happens (even if kids are not around.) Still, it's not that big of a deal. Fire the "actors" keep the video off YouTube and Walt won't "roll over in his grave" as the article suggests.

Plus, wasn't he creamated?

And? I'm sorry but this is nothing new. This kind of stuff has been going on since people created costumes. The only difference here is that they got caught. Also let's not forget that this happened in France. The french are a lot more open about this stuff than we puritanical americans are.

btw, if the pictures do offend you, never ever go to a furry convention.

Agreed, putting it on video and on youtube is tacky... but again, it was done in France. They have a different mindset over there. Who are we to tell someone what they can and can't do. Oh wait a sec.. We're americans.. telling other countries what they can and can't do is what we're known for.

I can only hope that I never do go to a "furry convention" whatever the hell that is.

I don't think people are offended by the idea of mice and dogs being sexual (cartoon or otherwise.) It's the fact that these are Disney characters being used in a manner that is offensive both to Disney and Disney fans.

The fact is that the public image characters are very carefully protected. They make a huge profit off them.

I can bet the French Disneyland Paris execs were just as upset as us "puritanical" Americans.

Absolutely. If you are interested in watching the video, here is a link to a different article that contains a link to the whole video.

It's not that bad- except for the fact that these are very familiar costumed characters behaving in a way that we would not expect.

Of course we know that there are human beings inside the costume, but we don't expect them to act like it.

If I am correct, I think a furry convention is when people dress up in costumes that are explicit in nature. That is only scratching the surface.

I don't like this video, but I'm not shocked either.
I think this happens everywhere, even in other Disney parks backstages.
You'd be surprised to see this video is much discussed on french disney boards, but a lot of people are indignant, topics are closed, links to video censored...

The only problem is why is this video on the internet ?

My thoughts exactly. It wasn't that bad and they were backstage even. I mean, if they were cruising down Main St. getting it on, that's one thing.
LOL honestly, I was disappointed, I heard about a character "orgy" and found half-hearted attempts to be funny by acting risque. It wasn't that funny actually.

Disgusting. I hate when things like this happen to the Characters. It sets such a bad example as both Mickey and Goofy didn't appear to be using protection.
