  • Summer: When does it get busy?

Does it start getting really busy in May, June, or July? I am trying to plan a trip in June with 4 days at the resort and few days in Paris, but I want to try and avoid summer crowds and heat by not arriving too far into June. Any advice or pointers (I can't go earlier than June)?

It was busy a few years ago but with the 15th i can't be sure if it's going to be busy or not .

I think you're good begin of June with the crowds, but I don't know about the weather. Since we kind of skipped winter and went straight to fall, it'll be unpredictable......

Re: Summer: When does it get busy?

Especially the first half of June should be okay. But not to early because of the opening of the new attractions!

In most countries of Europe school holidays start the end of june/begin of july, so this is a very busy month. August is a school holiday period in every country in Europe, so that is probably the busiest time.

May should be okay, but for example in the Netherlands there is a school holiday end of april, begin of may. And German schools have a holiday end of may/begin of june.

Also very busy periods are the days surrounding religious holidays (ascension; 17-5, whitsun/pentecost; 28-5). In most countries these days are national holidays and a lot of people tend to take a short break then.

For the weather; may and june can be very nice (15-20 degrees celcius, or higher). But it could be a lot coulder. And you can always expect some rain.....

Thanks for all the information. I just recieved a confirmation from my agent who finalized everything for a trip to Paris. I am looking forward to it.
