  • I was reading about Disneyland Paris on MousePlanet

I was reading about Disneyland Paris on MousePlanet and they said that there is a People Mover in the parking lot that leads to the park. Is this true? I haven't ever heard of it and was hoping someone would know about it. It is supposed to be in the middle of the parking lot.
    TIA

Care to share wha page you were reading?

The only Disney park WEDway PeopleMovers are the one at Magic Kingdom, and the one that was at Disneyland. There is probably a tram.

I think it's a moving walkway like they have in major intl airports.

I've been to DLRP twice, but I've never even seen a parking lot. Of course, with great public transportation, who needs a car?

I just looked at the Disneyland Resort Paris on Google Earth. There's a huge parking lot west of Parc Disneyland that appears to be the day trip guest parking. Cutting through this parking lot is a long, covered structure. So now I'm thinking moving walkway like CaliforniaAdventurer mentioned.

/\ Oh, okay, that's what I thought it must be, because a People mover doesn't make sense in a parking lot. Thanks guys, MousePlanet should know better than to use the word "people mover" when talking about a disney park.

It's better than having to wait in line to board a tram....

There are still plans to introduce a communal transport system, linking Centre Court (the plaza linking the railway stations, bus station, Disney Village and theme parks), Val d'Europe and the forthcoming Disney Convention Centre.
In principal, it will work in the same way as the transport network in WDW, but is likely to consist of an electric tram system, instead of a monorail.

Er, no. As I said in my post, they're looking at a tram system. Why?
