  • Disney Website needs to sort its act out!

Currently the UK Disneyland Paris site has no mention of any schedules for the next few months. So currently if I were to visit the Resort tomorrow I would have no idea of what times any of the shows start or which attractions will be closed.I find this disgusting and very poor of them as the whole point of the website is to keep its guest updated on all things park related.

The website does have parade/show times it just hasn't been updated for this/other month(s). I wouldn't call it disgusting, nor would I say the point of the site is to keep guests updated. The point of site is to display flashy, pretty pictures and videos to wow people and convince them to go. If you want a practical guide the best place is DLRPMagic. Don't get me wrong, it sure aint good that they don't have the show times but I wouldn't say disgusting.

According to DLP brochures, the website is also to give specific details on Extra Magic Hours such as which areas will be open early/late. This is not so - only the dates and morning/evening.

I never take official websites without a pinch of salt generally. I just find unofficial, more useful sites. It really does need to get fixed, the aesthetics are there but that's not much good

If Euro Disney runs its website like it runs its parks is it any wonder the place has had to be rescured twice now from bankruptcy.I also shouldn't have to go to DLRPMagic to find out whats happening at the parks each day.It should be posted on the official site not some fan site first. You would think the budgets for the refurb of attractions has been set already and that show times and schedule's are in place so why is no one posting this information online. Some of you may visit the website to look at all the glitzy pics and that but as for me I go there for all the information regarding my next visit to the park!

Also on a side note the site offers a broken link when you go to click on Annual Passports.

You are complaining about non existant updates. All I can say is: Nice problem to have.
The german DLRP site wasn't even updated for the 15th anniversary. It has the same design for almost five or six years now.

Sure, there is an extra 15th anniversary site, but if you are not really interested in Disney and already know about this, you have to search for this site.
Every time I'm looking for some information, I use disneyland.co.uk or other sites.

Of course, if the DLP website was definitive, we probably wouldn't have as much call to have nice chats like this!

Well, if anyone does somehow find out the attraction closure schedule, could they please post it here.
I woulod have thought DLP could be at least a bit more helpful.

See the Candlebration thread for a debate on the above mentioned starting time...

But we could instead talk up how reliable and up to date the website is instead.

Also I'm not impressed to hear that the German site is even in worst state than the UK's.Saying this I bet the French site is up to scratch as nothing like helping out your own country first hey!

Unfortunately it doesn't say anything about attraction closures though...

                            ...shame.

Anyway, I'm going to DLRP between Oct 21st -24th 2007, and if anyone could find attraction closures for this period I'd be very grateful.
