  • Unexpected Adventures!

Has anyone had a wonderfully unexpected experience in DLP that had nothing to do with the planned entertainment?

    Tell you what mine is...

One night on our last visit, following a hot day, it poured with rain. We stood up to the elements and got the benefit of short queues and no crowds. However, the great part was when we set off back to the hotel. I say with some pride, that I walked from Frontierland to the Sequoia Lodge in the pouring rain in my bare feet. It was most refreshing and gave me one of my most fond memories of the trip.

Ah, the lament of the childless Disney fan! Personally, my opinion is - "I'm never gonna see any of you lot again in my life and I don't care what you think about me - I'm having a good time!"
That some rides are considered 'kiddie' rides and some are ok for adults to ride is ridiculous to me. Every single ride in every single Disney park has something for everyone. Even the carousels and Dumbo-type rides hold enough detail to keep the adults amused or interested.
Before NDJnr came along, I felt the same about going to see Disney films at the cinema. I then woke up one morning and decided that it was part of who I was and if people didn't like it, they could lump it.
So ride Pinocchio to your heart's content Fizzy - I for one will not judge you!

Well I don't really have any shame, it was a more ofa joke shouting 'Billy? Billy?' to be perfectly honest, but fun it was and a memory it is! (I proved I don't care by admitting to liking POTC3 and Barry Manilow)
