You're much quicker at getting your photos up than I'm going to be. Crazy that we were both there within a couple days of each other. That's awesome you got to go there with your family.
That dragon underneath the castle was pretty amazing. It was one of Ian's favorite things to see too.
Did you try any of the foods available? With the heat wave, we were eating popsicles and ice cream non-stop.

I stayed overnight in the Disneyland Dream Suite! Read all about it here!

Thanks for the excellent trip report, sbk1234!

I share your kids' dislike for the small yet uncomfortable (for me) Indian Jones coaster.
That and Disneyland Paris' Space Man.,
and the mostly off-the-shelf "mouse coasters" (Goofy's Sky School in DCA & Primeval Whirl in the Animal Kingdom)
are my least favorite Disney coasters.

Was Pirates open when you were there? It was still closed when we were there in June.

I agree that the castle is beautiful.

We lucked out, because Pirates had just opened a few days before we got there.
Space Mountain was closed, so they didn’t get to try that.

All in all, a great time.

My trip report may have gone up quicker, but nowhere near the care and detail you put in yours. Looking forward to reading it.

Loved the dragon, too. Unfortunately most every time we went by there it was closed for a show or something. We ended up really only eating typical American foods, like burgers. And actually, the heat wasn’t so bad the day we were there, so only a little bit of ice cream for us.
