    Thanks!

Did the catacombs smell bad? I heard that and have always avoided them. How long was that tour, if you saw them on a tour?

Do you agree with me that Americans who can afford it should consider a Paris/Disneyland Paris trip instead of an expensive WDW trip at least one summer? If it's a once or twice in a childhood trip to Europe for their kids they could also take the convenient train that goes from Disneyland Paris to London.

First, the catacombs didn’t smell bad to me, but I have a weak smeller, so I may have missed that. But if something smalls bad enough, I can smell it. The tour was less than an hour. You can do a group tour led by a guide, or self led with a recorded narration on a headset, or just go through and read the information they have posted. That’s what I did. Just remember, it’s a long line, unless you pre bought tickets (I waited a couple of hours. Should have pre bought), and there’s a lot of walking, including two spiral staircases (one down, then later one up) that are several stories tall. I had a hard time by the end, but I’m not in the greatest shape. Well worth it, though. I’m very glad I did it.

As for the resort, I’m a devoted WDW fan. I really liked the French resort and hope to come back, but I don’t know if I’d go in place of WDW. There’s still a lot more to do in the Florida resort. Of course, if you go to Disneyland Paris, there’s all of Paris, and by extension France, and by more extension Europe to see, so it’s definitely worth a trip there.
