  • First time going to Disneyland!

So I’m very excited to finally being able to go to Disneyland next year. Unfortunately I can only go for a day, and we have already booked an hotel outside the parks with a free shuffle. We will wait for buying the tickets when it’s a bit closer to the date, because of COVID. We are going at the end of April and I have a few questions:
    • At the moment are the fireworks already working ?
    • I was thinking only buying the tickets for the Disneyland park sinc https://omegle.onl/e we are only going for a day, do you think it’s impossible to see both parks in just one day ?
    • Fast pass doesn’t exist anymore, right ?

    Thank you.

Hey! I just got back from DLP yesterday, so I can answer some of these questions, but first of all, you have made a great decision Disneyland Paris is a gorgeous park, and, though I haven't been to them all, has some really unique quirks that make it worth visiting for any park nerd.

    - At the moment are the fireworks already working ?

As of now, no, the hours are reduced, and so the park closes at 9 p.m. before it even gets close to dark, but I am sure by April there will be fireworks. (unless things get worse with the pandemic, but then we will have larger concerns than fireworks at Disney Parks.

    - I was thinking only buying the tickets for the Disneyland park since we are only going for a day, do you think it’s impossible to see both parks in just one day?

I have been to DLP in various months, and to be honest I think in April you have time to *see* both parks. I was there last March and rode all the major attractions in Disneyland Park, and had time for Ratatouille and single-rider for Crush's Coaster over in the Studios. In April the hours are relatively short, so you will have to do some walking to get it all packed in, but it is possible. The Studios are very small, especially with all the construction going on, maybe the Marvel area will be open by then, which would mean the park would take a bit longer to see.

Fast pass doesn’t exist anymore, right?

Currently there is no Fast Pass for anything. They have been testing Stand By Pass (Virtual Queue) on Crush's Coaster (which always has long lines), but I think that has led to more trouble and confusion than anything. However, by April this new and awful Premiere Access thing should be in full swing, meaning for things like Big Thunder, Peter Pan, Crush, Ratatouille, etc. you can pay 8€ to go through the old Fast Pass line. This stinks, and hopefully in April the wait times will be such that that won't even be a temptation, or by that time they will have adjusted the prices to something less offensive.

Just a few personal tips for DLP:

Read up on the history of Thunder Mesa (Frontierland) it is the masterpiece of DLP in my opinion, and how all the shops, rides and restaurants fit in to the story is really spectacular.

Eat at least one meal at a sit down restaurant at Disneyland Paris, the theme-ing in the restaurants is as good as in most rides.

I could go on, but then I would be answering questions you didn't ask. Hope this helps!
