  • Stunt Show at Disneyland Paris?

I found this concept art last night as I was looking for a piece for my California Adventure article.
Check it out on my blog:

    Anyone know more?

Hmmm, interesting. Perhaps it was an alternative plan to what eventually became the Chaparral Theater (which was only opened in 1995)?

Looks like a set of facades that could have host street stunt shows in Frontierland like the ones in 1993 with Zorro himself fighting bad *** cowboys and bandidos! Not a theatre that's for sure!

Well it does say "Stunt Theatre". But I suppose they may have used that term loosely.

Whatever it is, it is very interesting. I bet there is an informative story behind this one!

Sort of on topic - has anyone seen the documentary on the Disney Treasures Disneyland Secrets DVD to celebrate DL's 50th year (although it was released several years late)?
On it is footage of a vintage cowboy shootout at DL - using full sized actors in a two thirds sized town! They could have at least employed the vertically challenged!

^^ My bet is that is probably what they had in mind.
