  • [Question] MORE Entertainment in Tomorrowland

Why can't Disneyland Entertainment come up with MORE real, engaging shows at the Tomorrowland Terrace using WHATEVER characters?

A good example would be of the video shown below...

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=<obje...mbed></object>
I UNDERSTAND this is part of a larger event at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Then, why not something funny like this...

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=<obje...mbed></object>
    Or, how 'bout this...

Thanks for visiting. Come back real soon.

because jedi training academy is really popular and takes up the stage all day and then they have the bands at night?

Because where Star Wars barely fits in Tomorrowland (and I'm a huge Star Wars fan), HSM doesn't fit at all and already has it's own show across the esplanade!

In my opinion Star Wars fits in Tomorrowland just as much as Indy fits In Adventure or Jack and his crew fit in NOS. I wouldn't mind seeing a few jedis walking around and talking to guests.

On a slightly separate note...The Darth/Stormtrooper Thriller was fantastic.

That would be cool if they brought the Star Wars Dance Off to Tomorrowland I thought that was really entertaining

Why not do the dance off on the old Peoplemover platform above the lines for the Astro Blasters and Star Tours?

That said, the Jedi Academy is brilliant and fun to watch, just to see scared little kids face off against Darth Maul and Darth Vader--- priceless entertainment.

Now if only they didn't illegalize trees and shade in the future because Tomorrowland bums me the hell out knowing that we killed off all the trees with this pesky global warming.

I really don't see why Star Wars 'fans' would want to see the integrity of the original characters further eroded by cartoonification and cariacature.

But how many are going out of there way to goto Disneyland to see Star Wars based attractions and entertainment?

So sacrifice a decent entertainment concept for the fans?

Meh. If you wanna send Darth Vader out in a tutu, I don't care--I was commenting on the phenomenon of SW fans wanting to see Star Wars characters on stage regardless of how they are portrayed. It always surprises me.

Wait weren't the last three movies comedies anyways? So the characters have already been beaten up, bruised and knocked upside the head--- might as well get a rapping dancing Yoda out of it! LOL

But only if he's in a tutu.

Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter
