  • [Question] Do you have a favorite Disney Legend?

It's a tough one for me to pick one... there are a few tied for first in my book.

But if I had to pick ONE, just ONE, it would have to be Fred MacMurray, he was just the best dad actor figure ...period! No, I know My Three Sons wasn't Disney, I know, but that's when I started to truly appreciate Fred's skills as a humble and genuine personality when I was a kid.

Well besides Walt who is one of my hero's I would have to say Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston. I have read a lot about Walt, his studios, his features, and his animators. As we all know that over the course of his entire career Walt had to deal with a lot of shady people. People who took advantage of him and back stabbed him. These two guys were always loyal to him. They always stuck around through the good times and the bad times. They were great animators but most important they were loyal to Walt and his cause.
