  • [Question] CM Recognition

We had an amazing time (still planning a trip report) but I had a question We have a list of 10 CMs that made our trip amazing and magical. We never had time to stand in line at City Hall and give our compliments. I plan a letter to guest relations naming each CM, where they were working and the dates that they helped us. Will this do the same thing as giving the comments to City Hall? Could we have gone to Guest Relations on the outside?

    Re: CM Recognition

I was able to email a compliment over from the website.. Within 24 hrs I basically got the auto reply that they rec'd it.. then a day later I got another email that they read it and it would go into the employee's file.. Anyhoo- If you haven't done it yet at City Hall and need more time to get your thoughts in order.. email is a great way to go
Hope it helps, and good for you for taking the time to do it.. *** Raises glass ** Cheers to you sister!

New policy at City Hall: Guests are no longer permitted to complete their own compliment/complaint form but must verbally tell the castmember who will write it down. Guests are encouraged to submit a Contact Us form from the Disneyland website upon their return home.

Thank you. That was our problem, we didn't have time to stand there and tell the CM about every CM that helped us. I also wanted to make sure it was in my own words.

I think that your taking the time to pay a compliment to a CM is a totally quality thing to do! Good for you! I've done it in the past ad I'd like to think that it really did benefit the person.
