  • [Pictures] Splashmoun10's Super Short Trip Report (8/8/08)

Yeah, I really don't have much to say this time. I went with my family and my friend Adam from Friday to Saturday...it was super fun (like always). I spent both days waking up at 6:40 and getting to the parks for the 8 o'clock openings. Man does a 16 hour day of constant walking really kill one's legs.

I brought along my camera and my new iriver t10 (first time recording live audio in the parks) and took about 20 pictures before I did not feel like taking anymore. Haha. I went back to the hotel room and retired my camera but kept my iriver...recording over 14 hours of live audio from my trip.

Concerning some of the photos, I needed to clean the dust off my internal lens but forgot to so there are some minor smudge marks...sorry. Looks like its about time I ditch my Nikon and get a Canon digital rebel SLR. I have been meaning too.

I digress; Without anything else to say, here is my super short photo update from the first hour of my trip (day 1).

    what's this statue's name again? I forgot...

That's all folks. Sorry about this picture update, its length that is. But next time I will for sure go photo crazy once more

Your pictures are great... the sky is soooo blue! I don't see a single smudge, but then again I wasn't looking for one.

My friends and I have been dying to get some audio of our trips, we're just too lazy to carry the equipment around. How big is the iriver you were using?

Yeah, I like making the sky blue-er then it really was using iPhoto.

The iriver is pretty small which is nice. I just hooked it onto my belt loop and started recording.

      1 inch x 3.5 inches with a depth of maybe 1.5 inches....not bad

Whoa! Totally not what I had in mind! My knowledge on this stuff is limited so thanks for the pic and info!

P.S. how is the sound quality?

so far I have listened to very little of the trip...the audio is nothing spectacular, but atleast its something. It records at 128 kbps for 18 hrs. and has a 1gb storage capacity. I am not sure if mics can be plugged into it, but I am sure that would make the sound sooooo much better then it is.

Nice photos! Wish my camera can take photos like that.

You make 8/8 sound so placid, but that's a good thing. I was there on that day for my birthday. I would have gone earlier in the day, but traffic on the 91 East was a killer.

              Thank you for sharing!

Nice pics Splashmoun10. I like the ones with little or no people in them.
