  • [Chat] If You Could Own One Disneyland Artifact...

And by this I mean, if you had the opportunity to be given one item from inside Disneyland...a prop, that is, not a animatronic figure, from a ride, shop, or restaurant. What would yours be? I am feeling generous, as there are many things I would want...so make it two items.

Mine would have to be the Cat Woman changing portrait from the Haunted Mansion, along with one of the Pirates drinking skeletons...I count that a prop, not a AA, since it is stationary.

    What are your choices?
when the spooks have a midnight jamboree....

    1. The orange geodesic satellite from pre-2003 Space Mountain.
    2. I'll have to think about this.

Cinderella's Castle set from Storybook Land.

Captain Nemo's organ from Haunted Mansion.

Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter

I would like to own the main street theater marquee, and since you are being so giving I'll take one of those fancy signs over the entrance tunnels.

My first would be the largest prop I can think of, which is that marble ball in Tomorrowland.

I think would be the second story Harold from the Matterhorn

The marquee would be tough. A good crowbar, a step ladder and fast legs might get you one of those signs.

If you count this, I'd like a nose cone of a Mark V Monorail. I'd also like an autopia car, the chesire cat outside of Alice, the goat from Big Thunder, the racoon that taps it foot and plays harmonica inside of Splash just as you enter the riverboat finale, and a Sleeping Beauty Diarama. So, who wants to make mty dreams come true?

Not into theft or running, but they should sell replicas of those. I bet kooks like us would scoop that up.

A while ago you could get them on DisneyShopping.com. Not sure if you still can.

The. Apple. Is. Not. A. Hologram. :bang:

Sorry. Universal misuse of the term "hologram" an age-old pet peeve of mine.

There have been 3 things I regret NOT buying on ebay.

The first was one of the organ ghost faces from the ballroom in HM.

The second was the Space Mountain lettering that was on the wall as you enter the building.

The last was the sign that closed off Toontown during Believe fireworks. I proposed during Believe, so I really wanted it but couldn't afford it.
                            Be controversial

                            Be outspoken

                            Be outrageous

                            Just don't be boring

Aww, why do you regret buying 'em?
