  • [Review] Haunted Mansion Holiday on DVD...

I just saw the bonus features on this year's Nightmare Before Christmas set.
The set features a ride through of HMH, the same ride through with subtitled bits of trivia, as well as a nice lengthy 'behind the scenes' look at the attraction with the Imagineers involved in its development.
The bonus material this time around is shot in HD wide screen format and ratio, and looks pretty good.
Some sequences are a bit overlit in order to be properly photographed, but overall it's a real nice presentation.
Burton's 'Vincent' and 'Frankenweenie' are also incloded as bonus features among others including a 'Making of...'
See ya' for some Kettle Favorites at the Plaza Inn!
First Visit at the age of 12, July 17, 1968.
First Ride, The Disneyland and Santa Fe Railroad.

That sounds very cool. Not much incentive for me to buy a Blu-Ray DVD...

How lengthy is this "behind the scenes"? Is it like the feature on the Pirates redo on the 2-disk POTC Dead Man's Chest DVD?

          Hay Naut,
I'm not a fan of the Pirates movies, so I can't compare, but I figure it ran close to half an hour...

Thanks for the review. My nieces & nephew will be very glad to finally see the ride-through. They love THM and NBC, but haven't seen the overlay yet. They usually go to DLR in the spring, so they've missed out. I'll be getting the 2-disc DVD next week just for that (I already have the original one).
