  • Rockit Mountain Question-

Just a quick question: What do the lighting things above Space Mountain's track look like when they are turned on? When I was at the park last night I saw something on the track that looked like a small loop around the track the had little lights moving on it The only thing is, Our train was taking mostly left turns and we didn't pass under anmy of them. BTW: It seemed a little brighter inside the mountain yesterday.

And I was talking to a CM and she said that Rockit Mountain could debut as early as October, which I don't really seem to believe, but it's possible.

I promise your train wasn't taking any left turns (until the very last turn in the ride) ... The track is designed with right-turns only.

I'm sure the CM knows as much as you do about the debut of Rock It Mountain. And from all of the rumours, Rock It Mountain isn't set to debut until next year... So the CM is most likely wrong.

It's really strange, the tack design seemed the same at the beginning, (It starts with a left turn right, ) and as we got later in the ride, the one of the turns I remembered was a right turn turned left, and a few turns later we were in the reentry tunnel. Usually I move my head to the right because I knew it turned that way and we turned left and I got thown to the other side. I was almost going to film the ride with nightvision on the camera but I left it at home. But with the brightness of the building it almost seemed like I wouldn't need it. I'm going next Thursday, so I'll be sure to ride Space Mountain

There is a website where you can see pictures of space mountains insides fully illuminated.

              http://www.mpimages.net/wdw/compress...ghts_on_01.jpg
And that sale was very popular here in Fern City...especially for those who were put in a situation where they would be doing a lot of kneeling; sort of carpentry, or...

That's a great photo but it's Florida's Space Mountain, not CA.

What are you talking about??? The ride has 3 left turns at the start of the launch and 1 big one down lower, and the final left turn at the end. Now if I count that it is 5 left turns during the actual speed part of the attraction not 1. Throughout the whole ride there are 6 left turns which includes the slow parts.

I remember doing a few right turns, but it seemed like it was more left turns. I must have been looking for the asteroid.

Oh man because the turns are so important!

From what I remember from the loading dock:
It turns right twice to get into the main area of the ride. Then it turns left twice to get to the part with the countdown. It turns left from there, then it's all right turns until the end where it turns left.

BTW: Have any of you been in there with the lights on? It's crazy how many exit signs are in that place and how close together the track is.
