  • [Question] Pooh bear ride

I ride this every year, and I just heard that there is characters from the Country bear jamboree in the ride. Is this true, and does anyone have a picture of them?

larasound has the picture, but the location is right after to Heffalumps (sp?) and Woozle room and in the Hunny room. As soon as you enter that room, look up and you can see Max, Buff, and Melvin.

They are right after you leave the honey dream sequence, right as you see the hephalump playing the "trunk-harp". They are on the wall above the door you go through.

edit: MGB beat me too it.

Here's another trick. If you want to see Max, Buff and Melvin make sure you sit in the front seat. It's too tough to see them from the back.

haha the only reason my girlfriend and i ever ride this ride everytime we're in the park is to just see those guys. probably one of the best ways to pay a tribute to a pretty sweet show.

              More info I just remembered:
They're not from the Country Bear Jamboree, they were actually hanging in the Mile Long Bar (where the fudge shop is now)

They are a little bit hidden... you to have to look up and behind you. They aren't really intended to be see unless you are looking for them.
Does anyone even bother with signatures anymore?

I always forget to check those guys out when I ride this! Now I know people may make fun of me, but I actually like this ride! Sure it's not as good as the Tokyo version, but I think it's fun for what it is... not an E-ticket at all, but just a decent ride.

I call that part the "Winnie The Pooh Hippie Part"...I remember when I first saw the 3 heads, it scared me to death to see big things in the dark.

They were in the show and in the bar. The ones in the show actually moved and talked, the ones in the bar were simply stuffed replicas - not animatronics. I'm pretty sure the ones in Pooh are from the show.

May I ask why they are in the pooh ride?

Most likely as a tribute to the former occupants.
