  • [Question] Help Showcase some Disneyland History!

Im calling out to all you micechatters for some assistance. Im doing an interview with Mr. Ernest McLean. For those of you who don't know, some people just know him as Ernie in New Orleans Square. He's the guitar player of New Orleans Square and has been playing at Disneyland for over 30 years. Formerly of the Royal Street Bachelors and playing Solo, Im requesting any info, pictures, or video that can assist in my research as well as development of great Interview questions. Theres a few vids on you tube if your interested about him. So if you could all please dig into your old archives of stuff and see if you can find anything that would be marvelous! PLEASE! thanks...
You can't talk S*** unless your gonna do something about it...

He's really cool! I love hearing him play right outside the pin shop and the Court of Angels. You should ask him if there's any particular, special reason there's a Disneyland sticker on his guitar. I've always wondered about that.

He's a great guy. The last one. He wasn't really fond of Wally Boag, though. Wally had a huge ego, and was condascending to many. We all shared a dressing room/break area at he top of the courtyard stairs in NOS. These old jazz guys just patted us on the back and rolled their eyes with a sly smile, never saying a word. You could tell.
