  • News Discount Annual Pass Sold at Costco!

...MousePlanet reader Sean Rouse spotted a great deal at his local Costco store. Costco members can receive a $50 Disneyland gift card when they purchase a Deluxe Disneyland Resort annual passport for $269 at a participating Costco location. The offer should be available at all Costco stores that currently sell Disneyland admission, but the vouchers may not have arrived in all locations yet. Sean spotted the tickets at the Burbank and Fountain Valley Costco stores; we've confirmed that the Hawthorne and Long Beach stores do not yet have them. The ticket will also be available through the Costco Web site in the near future.
There are no residency restrictions on this ticket, and it can be upgraded to a Deluxe with parking or Premium passport. Better still, the $50 gift card can be applied towards the cost of the upgrades, which nearly pays for the $59 parking option or drops the net cost of a Premium Annual Passport to just $339.
This would be a good deal for some people who are intrested in buying a AP or renewing.

Can these be paid for on a monthly basis as well?

DIP, if you use your credit card, which is probably how most people pay for their AP's anyway.

I'd rather use my debit and not accrue interest.

So I guess I'll be getting my APs straight from Disney.

Oh well I guess I can't have my cake and eat it too.

I hope they have them at the Costco here in Reno. I would like to get one before my trip in a week.

If its in store Costco only takes debit cards (unless you have an American Express card). Online orders you can use credit or debit cards.

It would have been a good deal but I already bought our vouchers through the Navy ITT office. I did save the difference of the price increase though.

You are correct but you know that you (or at least I would) be using the gift card to offset the costs during the trip.

Its like a discount in the way a rebate is a discount you still have the same initial costs.

Do you then take it to main street and get your info onto the card. I need to get a new pass and would love a $50 gift card.

You can also write a check at Costco.

They won't even take debit cards--at least they don't up here in the Seattle area. It's cash, check, or American Express. Very annoying as I only carry a debit card and never have cash or checks and am not interested in a credit card that charges you a yearly fee.

Still, I'm real excited to hear you can by the APs at Costco now. Can't wait to go home and tell the wife (we just let ours expire a couple of weeks ago.) This is much cooler than those package deals they've been offering (I don't want to go to Universal or Garden Walk--I just want to go to Disneyland!)

If you have an executive membership, you'll also get something like 2% back. So not only do you get the $50 Disney card, you'll also get a little cash from Costo when they issue your rebate check. Very nice.
