  • News POTC: Return of the dog! (Merged)

The dog is back (with his soundtrack) by the singing pirates. No sign of the donkey though, it's still AWOL.

Wow! How long was the dog in refurb??

We knew it, once the donkey disappears, the dog will reappear. Now, it's a matter of time before the dokey returns.

Yay ...I've missed the pooch! We were just there Sunday and he was still MIA. The donkey was gone too, but you could still hear his bray in the song (although it was faint). Hopefully, he'll be back soon too.

You know you are a MiceChatter when you excited about the Dog's return. This is great news! That pooch had a long vacation.

He/she just needed a vacation to rest his vocal chords, what with all that yapping/howling. Very happy to hear he/she's back!

Cool, he's been gone forever. Over a year I'm pretty sure. Anyone know for sure when he left?
The Mickey audience is not made up of people; it has no racial, national, political, religious or social differences or affiliations; the Mickey audience is made up of parts of people, of that deathless, precious, ageless, absolutely primitive remnant of something in every world-wracked human being which makes us play with children’s toys and laugh without self-consciousness at silly things, and sing in bathtubs, and dream and believe that our babies are uniquely beautiful. You know…the Mickey in us.

Now all we need is the donkey and MR. BLUE BIRD on Splash Mountain and we'll be set! Unless there are more AAs missing that I don't seem to know about...

I thought there was something missing from PoTC! Last week the dog was back, though silent, and the donkey gone. (Sept 12th)

I noticed he was gone last December, when I was at the park for the Candlelight Procession, so he's been AWOL that long at least.

I'm pretty sure he was gone by at least mid-september of last year, I don't think he was there on my Birthday.

wait, he was gone for a year? I went on pirates twice in the first week of September this year and he was there, holding onto those dang keys.

Different dog, we're talking about the one near the barn and the three singing pirates before you turn and get your first view of the burning city.
