Nah, to me, it doesn't fit the theme... DCA is supposed to be re-designed to a 1930's feel, and a PeopleMover wouldn't fit in with that. I'd rather they just direct those efforts to putting it back up on the track in Tomorrowland, instead. Much better thematically and traditionally.

Though it might be nice to actually use it as a "PeopleMover" and have it carry people from DL to DCA without having to have hand-stamps and cross empty space!

Something quick from TomorrowLand over to the set of some space movie they are filming in the Hollywood back lot.

        It's an idea!

A Peoplemover circling Grizzly River Run, Paradise Pier, Hollywood or Cars Land? How would that make thematic sense?

PM belongs in Tomorrowland, it IS coming back. For it to be used as a transportation system, it should be Resort wide. The walk between Tomorrowland and DCA is short - nobody would ride a PM over that short of a distance.

They're still working on plans to do something with the track in Tomorrowland. Patience, padawan!

If your in TL it's a pretty far walk, I guess you could take the train, but I actually think a lot of people would take a route from TL to Hollywood PBL if it was available. It would be another incentive to sell park hoppers. I had been playing with an the idea of a skyway in that same route and concept, but I didn't like that it had to travel over backstage areas. I doubt Disney would do it, but it's a neat idea.
The Mickey audience is not made up of people; it has no racial, national, political, religious or social differences or affiliations; the Mickey audience is made up of parts of people, of that deathless, precious, ageless, absolutely primitive remnant of something in every world-wracked human being which makes us play with children’s toys and laugh without self-consciousness at silly things, and sing in bathtubs, and dream and believe that our babies are uniquely beautiful. You know…the Mickey in us.

How about they put the people mover on the existing tracks and theme it to WALL-e? Or would that be not PC?

Re: How about the People mover at DCA?

Tomorrowland needs a better theme, a more cohesive theme, and the People Mover in DCA just doesn't make sense since there are be better forms of transportation that fit the themes of the lands. How I want to see the People Mover live on is actually using it as a means of transportation for the DLR, not just an attraction. The People Mover deserve better.

I don't see how that could be construed as not politically correct, but I know there are a lot of people who'd rather not see a movie tie-in up there. Because honestly...why would that be necessary? Why can't an original attraction just support itself?

The idea of a Peoplemover at DCA is a bad one. Also there are rumors that it is coming back to DL.

                            1) It wouldn't thematically fit in.
                            2) It will be coming back... Eventually.

What is with wanting everything that was/is Disneyland to be brought over to DCA? There was that wanting to bring Autopia to DCA, and now People Mover. Then there was that one out of left field; Mission: SPACE. What's next? Tom's Sayer's Island?
