  • [Other] The Disneyland Experience Through Sketching

Sometimes, I decide to just bring in my sketch pad to Disneyland, and sketch some obscure parts of the resort. I was inspired by Data's 3d project, and I thought it was a pretty good idea. Maybe I could scan some and post them up here. What do you guys think?

As I said...I'm greatly looking forward to this! It's something I've thought about doing before, but I've never actually done it. And your results will probably be better anyway. In any case, go for it!

                I would too!

I've thought about sketching at the parks but I've never gotten around to it yet. Besides, I'm not the best "sketcher" around.

We want satisfaction!!! Put up the sketches!! =D

Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter

I love the idea of random creative works inspired by the parks!

When I was living in FL I spent many an afternoon writing in the parks. Little of it was actually about the park. But it was just such a perfect environment to stimulate creativity.
I worked at Walt Disney World as a member of the Disney College Program in Spring 2008 and Summer 2010. Now, I build software, design live events, and frequently make the short trek from Costa Mesa to Disneyland with my Annual Passport in hand.

Put you sketches in the air where we can all see them. Place the pencil on the ground and slowly walk away.

Okay, let me just get them. The scanner isnt working very well, so I may have to take a picture of it, and then put them up.
