Neat. I'll get to see it. Perhaps it will pop up in my trip report!
      A little bit about me...
      First Disneyland Trip: Oct. 1989
      Mandatory first ride: POTC
Mandatory food: Clam chowder in bread bowl & a churro (not at the same time though)
      Next trip goals:
      1) Ride the Casey Jr. Circus Train. I didn't get around to it on this past trip.
      2) Get over to TSI.
      3) Try a jalapeņo/cheese pretzel. Yummy!

OK, am I the only one who is worried that they will put a person is a dog suit and try to play this character? Bolt is supposed to be a real dog, not a cartoon dog like Goofy that has human characteristics, or even a dog that lives cartoon world so a mouse can have a dog as a pet such as Pluto. Bolt is dog sized and no human can fit his size. I hope that in Disney's crass addition to merchandise everything to death that they don't just put a person in a dog suit and think that is acceptable.

The pre-parades are usually done quite well. Ratatouille, Prince Caspian and Enchanted were all great. I anticipate that Bolt will be no exception.

And Oliver from Oliver and Co. used to be a fuzzy character, too.

Isn't better to simply wait and find out?

Are you kidding!? Why on Earth would we wait 7 days, when we can endlessly debate it on here?

Better... yes. Going to happen? Nope.

Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter

                      Quoted for truth.

I for one, don't think Bolt looks like that bad of a movie, and from what I saw for the teaser parades, I think Disney will do a decent job.

I think you might be referring to Remy and Emile. I think we had this discussion when the giant rats were paraded out. I had the same feeling. While at least the parade designers scaled the props around them to fit their size. But Remy and Emile walked on their hind legs. Bolt walks on all fours.

Is there no limit on how a character can be portrayed? How would you feel about someone dressed as Nemo and Marlin with two legs coming out of the bottom of the fish? How about them signing autographs on Main Street? Would that bother you? Don't you think kids would pick up on that this really is not Nemo and Marlin, but two people is fish suits?

Kids know what dogs look like. They know their size and shape and characteristics from personal experience. You are not going to fool any child to think this is Bolt from the movie with a person in a dog suit.
