  • [Question] Looking for info about Walt Disney Studios Information Technology

I am not familiar with this division of the Company, and google information is almost non existant. Is anyone here familiar with what Walt Disney Studios Information Technology does for the Company? Is it in anyway related to Disneyland? Or WDI perhaps? Any and all info would be most appreciated.

Well IT is IT... I know they have 2 main hubs, one in Texas and the other in Florida. They also have a sprinkling of individuals throughout the company but my guess is the tag would have come from one of those two specific areas. I debated briefly about applying but when I was told Texas or Florida I reconsidered.

Yay, my industry. Information Technology are the people that set up and maintain the computer networks for the company. Be it the LANs within buildings, or the connections across the country. They are the people that manage the infrastructure behind the websites (but not the websites themselves).

They are in charge of servers, computers, network routers and switches, etc. They are the people you call when your computer goes down at work.

They are the people responsible for the networks and computers within the parks and hotels as well.
