  • [Question] What's up with Mr. Potato Head?

Sunday was our first trip to see Toy Story Midway Mania and we were disappointed that Mr. Potato Head was behind a curtain... nowhere to be seen. Is he often broken?

He's been broken about 1/3 of the times I've been there. I don't know if that's average or bad luck, but it does seem like they're having some issues with him.
The Mickey audience is not made up of people; it has no racial, national, political, religious or social differences or affiliations; the Mickey audience is made up of parts of people, of that deathless, precious, ageless, absolutely primitive remnant of something in every world-wracked human being which makes us play with children’s toys and laugh without self-consciousness at silly things, and sing in bathtubs, and dream and believe that our babies are uniquely beautiful. You know…the Mickey in us.

I do recall reading somewhere recently that they did have to alter his program to remove the function of him taking his ear off and replacing it because he started dropping it. Maybe (hopefully) they are fixing that now...

OR TASTE PILOT Grill had a rush on fries...

When I saw him take out his ear and drop it I was laughing so hard but I've only seen him down twice and I'm there about once or twice a week so maybe I just have good luck

Out of all the times I've been over there, only once was Mr. Potato Head not covered up. Bit of a letdown.
