  • [Question] Quick Annual Pass question!

    My pass recently expired...
and 'm looking to get the Premium pass..

What I want to know is this...
if I were to buy the deluxe pass first would I be able to upgrade in a week or so to premium?

or if I were to buy the SoCal resident pass could I then upgrade to the premium?
and if I were to upgrade do I get the dates I've already used before I upgraded back on? (if you know what I mean?)

    one last question...
In order to get the SoCal resident pass do I need a SoCal drivers liscence?
or can I just take a piece of mail with my name and address on it and show my English ID? as I'm yet to get my Socal ID :]

    thankyou!!

I'll answer the best I can..

You can upgrade any annual pass (except premium) at any time during your year. If you decide to renew in the middle of your year they'll pro rate it with what you've already used. I beleive a valid SoCal ID is required to get the SoCal Annual pass but call them ahead of time to see if you can take a bill or something to prove that you live in socal.
        Everybody's got a laughin' place-
trouble is most folks won't take the time to go look for it.

You pay the difference between your current pass and the pass to which you're upgrading. There is no prorating and your expiration date remains the same. Better to upgrade sooner during your pass year rather than later.

If you've just moved, bring your photo ID and a bill with your name and current So Cal address. Of course, a valid state ID with a So Cal address ID preferred.

If you're attending a school that is clearly in So Cal you can bring in your school ID as well; my driver's license address is in Northern California, but since I go to Chapman and most CMs know where it is, I can use my Chapman ID to get So Cal deals.
