......Isn't that Store promoting Lego Land.................

Re: Why is there a Lego Store In the DLR resort.........

I wouldnt see it as promoting Legoland as much as promoting lego products... plus most of the businesses in Downtown Disney are other companies leasing the space to sell their product there! It would be like some of the stores at Universal Citywalk having Disney Items in a few of the stores... Like this movie items store in citywalk actually had some disney items [but this was years ago... dont know if it has changed or not]

And who doesnt like the Lego displays they have
Add me... I dont bite LOL!

I once bought a Nightmare before X-mas wallet at the city walk. It was teh crows nest store. It was like a tourist store, because it had a lot of postcards.

I see downtown Disney as more of a mall, because nothing except the disney store is disney.

No, no, no. The Death Star is no longer the biggest LEGO set in existence-that torch has passed to the Ultimate Edition Millennium Falcon.

              Millennium Falcon FTW! Yay!

Because Legos are super awesome, and I don't believe Legoland California is operated by Lego anymore. I thought some family from Ohio bought it? Maybe I'm just crazy. But yeah-Legos=Awesome!!! )

Why is the Build-A-Bear store there? Why is Jamba Juice there?

Your question is no different. It's not disneyland it's a shopping center with some disney themed stores and some other non-disney themed stores.

EDIT: i just visited downtown disney today as a matter of fact lol....

Well what would you rather have, a Megablocks store?

I agree with what others said Lego (not legos, the plural of lego is lego like moose is moose) is awesome. Don't knock on my blocks (or bricks more specifically).

Now if only there was Disneyland (or WDW) Lego.
I like The Happiest Millionaire. What's wrong with that?

Disneyland Lego would be great with official sets of your favorite rides.

Legoland parks are only about 33% owned by the Lego Group; it is primarily owned by Merlin Entertainment who also own Madam Tussaud's.
