  • [Question] A Nightmare gift question (wrapping paper)

I was wondering if they sold the various "Nightmare Before Christmas" wrapping paper and bows that you see on the presents throughout Haunted Mansion Holiday. There are several NBC fans in my family and I would like to use some of those designs if they are sold commercially.

Every year that we enjoy the HMH, we wonder why they don't sell those items at the Resort.

    We'd buy some...

I created some a couple of years ago for two gifts for a friend of mine featuring our mutually favorite scary teddy we named Roland.

I was hoping someone would say yes. I know they do not sell it within the park, but I wasn't sure if it was possibly sold elsewhere (Disney licenses everything!)

Doesn't mean Tim Burton does or would.

However the only store I can think of that could carry something like this would be Wacko / Soap Plant. They carry what would certainly be described as unusual and fabulous merchandise, their La Luz de Jesus Gallery space alone there is worth the visit. They've hosted SHAG among many others.

I've actually been looking for the same exact thing as you tech. The closest thing I've found was this.

The couple made the wrapping paper at home, it's not the shiny stuff you get at the store, but it makes up for that in awesomeness. They just went off of pictures of the presents in HMH and created their own wrapping paper basing it off the pictures.

Maybe not just casual bows but I saw like an antique-looking HMH skull and bow at the Disneyana store.

But that's not what you are looking for most likely.

Doombuggie Productions (when it was still up) had scans of the ribbon from HMH...since the site is no longer up, i will see if I can find my old print out and scan it in (I know I still have the original scan of the tarot cards)... or Does anyone know if Patric Hurd is a Micechatter? Heck Techskip, if you want I can make another Zombie Nutcracker for you to give (I gave one to Skipper Jeff S. for Hannukah one year)

I've made my own ribbon and wrapping paper, and boy! is it ever hard on writer's cramp!

I used black paper and black satin ribbon. Then i got white-out in a bottle with a pen tip applicator and started scratching lines and lines and lines to replicate the NBC ribbon like Jack wears. Took quite a while, but looked great.
