  • Video Backstage Views of Holiday Fireworks and Castle Lighting, Merry Christmas!

    Hi y'all!

With Christmas now just days away, I thought I'd share a couple interesting views of two of this year's most highly acclaimed holiday offerings.
P.S. Be sure to watch both videos in high quality.

First, we have Act II of the castle and tree lighting ceremony (accompanied by snow, of course) shot from the opposite side of the castle just inside fantasyland. This a terrific viewpoint to see all of Main Street light up along with the hub.

    SNOWY!

Next, is the always astounding Believe in Holiday Magic fireworks spectacular shot from the top of the Mickey & Friends parking structure. There's no show audio, but that means you get to hear every boom, pop, fizzle, and bang that is usually lost to crowds. Plus there's an alternative soundtrack provided by the car alarms in the cast member parking lot below!

    ASPLODE!

Hope you all enjoy and I invite any one of you professional-type photographers to shoot from these locations during these last few weeks of the holiday season, I'm sure some great shots can be had.
    Thanks for viewing!

Awesome videos! I always love watching the fireworks from the structure.

    Thanks for sharing.
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.

Hmm - such an interesting perspective!

It's funny seeing the show like this. Having seen the show about 10 tens plus 30+ video views of the show (Main Street view) from on Youtube, I know exactly what part the show it' on (I can even hear the music in my head!).

And all the cars going off was hilarious!! (It's not surprising, though: those fireworks are LOUD!)

My right ear was in pain for several minutes after a recent viewing.

        Thanks!
