Sometimes when you are at Disneyland, you don't really want to go on rides- sometimes you just want to take in the scenery.

One of my favorite places to take in the scenery is of course Main Street. I always liked the color palette surrounding the entire area- it's got a real quaint charm to it. It makes me feel reminded of being at turn-of-the-century america.

I also like the scenery in New Orleans Square. My favorite is on the royale near Club 33.

So my question is: What is your favorite themed area to take in the scenery?

I actually like sitting in the Outdoor lobby of the Grand Californian.

      Reminds me of the mountains.

Next to the JC exit for sure. I've always been a fan of the jungle and its animals.

I like sitting between Grizzly river run and Redwood Creek trail.I love the smell of the trees and the sound of running water, especially at night when there are not too many people around.

Absolutely New Orleans Square, it's always fun to just look around or sit...and when you're done, Haunted Mansion is right there and usually less than 10 minutes to get in!
when the spooks have a midnight jamboree....

I love that whole area. It is really well done. Very peaceful.

I like the front porch area of the Pooh shop back in Critter Country. Late at night the lighting and the trees are just beautiful.

Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter

Wow it's hard to pick just one. I'd say my top 3 are Fantasyland, NOS and Main Street.

Fantasyland, taking it all in while hearing the carousel music and the laughter of children and couples as they ride dumbo and the carousel.

It gives that magical feel of childhood and disneyland

I have to say Fantasyland at night. It's virtually deserted but the atmosphere is great.

Any bench in Critter Country. My dad always said it looked just like the family farm in Ohio where he lived as a kid and he loved to sit there. So now I go there, drink in the scenery and think of him.

Anywhere on PLOTSI overlooking the river and gazing back on the mainland.
