^Blah? both pieces of concept art look very promising in my opinion.

Btw, this is another thread that should have simply been a post in The DCA Project Tracker Thread. There's been a lot of these recently.

I say blah because my brain got going and what I came up with is infinitely cooler then a boring ol building.

        Picture this!

A force perspective Eric's Castle that you actually walk into to get to he ride, but not just any, "into" I'm talking, around the outside area, maybe from a high window you can hear the ladies talking as they do laundry. Another window, some pipe music, or even Louie serenading himself...
As you go inside the castle you walk into a grandentrance where you would board your ride vestle. ride the ride your exit is outside like you ust watched Them sail off into the distance, as you walk off the ride, you notice a side cave that has a beautiful shore theme that you can't help but explore. inside you find Ariel(with Fin) entertaining her guests...

IDK it sounded awsome in my head.

I hope they go all balls out on the Mermaid ride. It could be to DCA what Pirates is to Disneyland.

That seems to be what it's shaping up to be. And it had better, since it's gobbling all of the budget for everything in the area. It is supposed to be DCA's premier dark ride attraction.

The Little Mermaid building is going to look like it was part of the 1915 World's Fair in San Fran. The building will incorporate the Palace of the Arts (gazebo looking thing that was at the entrance of Golden Dreams) to further the feel

Here is what you will get including the inspiration from what I believe is from the origional Santa Monica Boardwalk in the early 1900's.

That's not exactly saying anything, as it will basically be DCA's only dark ride. Excluding Monsters, Inc. which I don't count as a full-fledged dark ride like HM or Pirates, which is what seems to be what LM is going to be.

True. Personally though, I consider Midway Mania as a dark ride, too. And that is pretty sophisticated, if overly reliant on projection technology.

I heard that there's going to be an animatronic Ariel in front of the ride building?

Yikes, a Mr. Potatohead is one thing, but Ariel? Come on, I hope that's not true.

I'd rather see them spend their budget INSIDE the ride, not on an Ariel outside the ride.
