We stood in line so that my brother could meet Buzz Lightyear and take a picture with him, but it wasnt until that moment that we realized the camera was still in the car. =/

Mine is going with people that I know are flaky. Always late and don't mind just wandering around, I hate it. Why I would subject myself to that when I know it's one of my pet peeves is beyond me.

I went to disneyland with a friend one day, and only when we got to the entrance did we realize it was a blockout day.

Last year, in line to go through the gate to start the Gumball Rally with my team, when moving quickly (or at least, efficiently) was rather critical... I thought I had my AP in hand and ready to enter, but looked down and saw that I was holding a Photo Pass. I had to dig around in a panic to get it out and ready to enter the park. D'oh! I don't think I cost the team too much time. We came in ninth. )

And there have been a few times when I've gone home without using a FastPass or two.

I started walking the wrong way to the DLRR station exit and realized that I had run out of railing. I turned around just in time for a CM to yell at me and point to the exit. I really wish there were arrows painted on the cement pointing the route to the nearest exit, which I see on some old-time Disneyland photos.

                    Here's my camera experience.

In December DIP Jr and I went to DL. We parked in Timon and we decided to walk instead of taking the tram. I had a bag in my hand which had our water in it. About 3/4 of the way there I realized I had forgotten my camera in the car, so I told DIP Jr that we had to go back to get it.

DIP Jr, a 10 year old boy, got upset and said, "You don't have to take pictures all the time!" And I told him that I want to get pictures of him for Nana and Papa for Christmas. This bickering back and forth went on for some time while we walked back to the car.

When I got to the car my camera wasn't where I put it! It wasn't until I started feeling a little panicked that I realized I had my camera in my hand the entire time, hidden by the bag that was holding our water.

I suppose all our bickering took my mind off the fact that I was holding onto the camera. Any way we got into DL and had a fun day.

They say the mind is the first thing to go...

I feel a little guilty for laughing at you and DIP Jr. bickering your way back to the car, but OMG, I can't help it, because it is funny. :lmao: I can imagine what he had to say when you discovered the camera in your hand. :imtheone:

When I was about 6 yo, I was walking down Main St. next my dad when I looked up at him only to find I was now walking next to somebody else's dad.
I must have looked really scared because a CM grabbed me within 30 seconds or so.

I forget what he said but he was mad! As we were walking back to the park he acted like he didn't want to be near me so he started running. He kept himself about 10 feet in front of me.

I yelled at him to come near me but he wasn't listening, and the giggles I heard coming from him told me he was just playing around. So I let him run -- that would probably calm him down anyway. Finally as we got closer to the park I didn't want to lose him in the crowd, so after yelling at him to come near me again, and he wouldn't listen, I had to resort to the tried and true, "If you don't come here then we're going home!" which has so far worked until one day when he realizes I'm not all that serious about it! (Kinda similar to when my mom would threaten to send me to boarding school!)

So that's how it all panned out. It turned out to be not too serious -- I only had to pull out the stops when I thought I was going to lose him.
