  • [Question] Face character auditions?

Hi there, I'm Hannah =) This will be my first post so forgive me if I put this anywhere I'm not supposed to! =P
I know there are a lot of posts on the face character auditions (haha, you all are probably groaning as we speak xD) but most of the info in them are from the first audition set... And there's not too too much on the rest of the process!

I have a long way to go until I'm even applicable to audition, but, if anyone had offhand experience at a secondary audition (a stage in the audition after the initial 'looking at your face' part xD) I would LOVE to hear about it!

Thanks so much for your help!

    Re: Face character auditions?

At one face audition, we were divided into two groups. One group got to try on the wigs for whichever character they were up for and then basically stand and smile for a second round of inspection; while the other group was given little monologues of differing characters that they had to deliver. Best advice I can give, whenever you do decide to audition, is to really go in thinking that you are that character. Smile and stand and think like that character. If you can believe it and sell it, the casting directors will be more likely to buy it.
