I used to work there, no it isn't. Same price. I now work at the Disney Store and I have advise for you. Go to a Disney Store and buy your tickets there because they are still selling tickets by the old prices! Prices went up two weeks ago, but we are still selling them at the old price. I suggest you hurry because I don't knwo when we will have to start selling them at regular price!

the better idea...get the southern california two day park hoppers in advance online, if you still have time. they're half the price than at the gate ($79 versus $116). the only thing you need is to enter in your so cal zip code to get the special rate.

and yes, you can upgrade your park ticket into an annual pass. suggestion: if you're getting a pass that doesn't include the weekend, use your park ticket that weekend and at the end of your second day, just tell them you want to upgrade to an AP and they'll gladly do it. you just pay the difference.

If you have a SoCal ID, the 2 day ParkHopper is $79 at the gate, if you ask for it. No need to order online.
