  • Trip Report Best DCA Picture Ever (From A Beatles Fan's Perspective!)

We had a wonderful time on our Surprise 72 hour notice trip. Highlighted by being one of the first groups on It's A Small World but we will never forget meeding Darkbeer and some more (Sorry, names escape me at the moment) Nice Mice Chatters at the Sunday Noon Meeting. It was an VERY VERY eventful week with all sorts of odd things happening... including being stranded on POTC and getting some great backstage photos and equally great anger from a security person for taking said photos and other small things.... like OUR HOTEL ROOM FLOODING!

I look forward to telling you the whole story.

But below is the reason for my letter today. Any Beatles fan will get it right away (and note no shoes on "Paul")

Talk to you all soon, boy do I have a few doozey stories to share.

It's coming from a Facebook account, I don't think the boards support it for some reason. Try uploading it to Photobucket and posting it here.

I see an awesome reproduction of the Abbey Road cover. Very nice, I love it!
Maybe one has to be logged into Facebook to see it since the photo's hotlinked there? I happen to be.

No, I messed it up the first time. Everyone should be able to see it now. First time I ever posted a photo.

Great photo! Hmmm... You are giving me ideas. The Beatles are the geatest rock and roll band ever!!!

And since you are a fan Beatle_Johnny, I'll tell you my family's best Disneyland event ever: My Dad met up with Paul McCartney in the men's room in Adventureland. They were both reaching for the same paper towel. LOL (We'd heard Paul and the family were at the park getting escorted around.) Dad, being Dad, said hello and asked him if he was enjoying the park. Paul said, Yes, very much. Dad said he was a terrific person, very friendly.

This from a man who, like all Dad's of the 60s, considered the Beatles a plot to destroy America's youth. (After meeting Paul he became his biggest fan.)
