It's time for me to renew my AP, and I was looking at the CostCo Disney Passports. Has anyone upgraded them to the Premium and can you use the gift certificate for extra $$ that comes with them toward the upgrade?
I got a Costco deluxe annual pass for Christmas and about $75 in Disneyland gift cards too. When I went to the park on the MiceChat anniversary meet, I headed to the bank and upgraded it to premium, and yes...I DID use the gift cards as money to upgrade.

Same here - I also bought the Costco Deluxe passes and upgraded them to Premium.
I've always had a Premium pass, so this was about $20 cheaper than renewing.
I did it all at the ticket counters in front of the park - the cashier had to go through the entire process of getting me my deluxe pass plus gift card, then upgrading my pass and paying for it with my gift card and credit card to cover the difference. It added maybe 5 minutes more the total transaction time, but I believe she's done this quite a few times before.
Hey everyone, maybe this is a silly question. I have a SoCal Select pass, and its up in June. Do all Costco's sell the passes? and do the have different levels? Like Select, Premium, etc. Also does anyone know Costco prices vs. renewing at the park. Thanks to anyone who has the answers.
The Costco price is the same as the price online and at the park: $259. The difference is that with the Costco package, you also get a $50 Disney gift card - so you could almost say that the Deluxe AP only cost you $209 or that you got to eat free for a day. Either way, it's an amazing offer that I was happy to take advantage of.
I love my awesome crazy wonderful friends!!
