What long gone ____ would you most like to have seen?

What Disneyland ride/attraction/point-of-interest would you most like to have seen before it faded into the mists of time. Having been born in '70, I don't think my first visit to DL was until about 73-74.

As I studied the attractions and films of Disneyland's past (and being a fan of detailed minitures), I think I would have been enthralled by seeing this in the flesh.....

America Sings I got to see many many times as a child. CoP was long gone by then.

One of the first attractions I was trained on was M2M. :o Was the absolute easiest gig in the park.

OK...I'm giving away my age but I loved the Tomorrowland Flying Saucers that floated on the cushion of air. I understand they were a maintenence nightmare...but they were a lot of fun! :lol:

Ya know... Myth Busters created a sort of reverse flying saucers using vacuum cleaner motors once. That stuff looked fun.

America Sings and (don't laugh) the Mule Ride LOL! In pics, it looked like it was pretty fun, and there aren't too many places you can ride a mule these days.

Rainbow Mine Train, and any awesome ideas that Walt Disney had for the City Of Tommorrow. Even the House of Tommorrow I was curious what they thought about that. Tommorrowland back then was supposed to be what it would be like in 1986. I did Ride ATIS BEFORE IT CLOSED. Also Mission to Mars.

I am gonna get pummeled for saying this but... I always wanted to ride Superstar Limo because my wife just goes on and on and on about how bad it was... and I missed it. I mean, it makes it really hard for me to make fun of a ride I have never experienced. I know so many people who make fun of the film Showgirls, but find that very few have actually seen it - so how can they make fun? I however, have sat thru Showgirls and every nerve ending in my body was screaming for death! Is it too much to want the same experience from SSL? To experience the agony of Rubber Woopi and Robo Cher?

Mike Fink Keel Boats .... my oldest boy is going through a "Davey Crockett" phase (he got some DVDs for Christmas) , I'd love to share the experience with him.

I am fortunate to have experienced CoP (and seen the future city model). ATIS, MBC, and MTRTNW. But I think I was afraid of the Burros ......

Ohhhh..... I'm feeling so old. I remember all those rides which people are talking about. Personally I would have loved to try the flying saucers to see if they really live up to all the hype and nostalgia around them.

I got to see American Sings quite a few times. It was my Mom's favorite. I would have liked to have seen Carousel of Pregress. And it's not looking like I am going to be able to get to WDW to see it before it goes to Yesterland for good.

Micheal Fagsner, you would make your beloved moneys worth if you put these rides (or some of them) back in the park. Are you really that lazy to greenlight the proposed projects? And you wonder why your job is in jeopardy......

Bring back Tomorrowland '67. Circle-Vision, Rocket Jets, PeopleMover, Star Tours (yes, even star tours) Captain EO, 2-level starcade, space mountain, skyway, submarine voyage, and Autopia.

Now we have astro orbiter, autopia, and star tours. Thats it
