  • [Question] Animation Academy Characters?

I've only recently started to get into visiting the Animation Academy, but I'm looking for a list of all of the characters you get to draw there! Is there some kind of gallery/list/link with examples? I'd appreciate it!

Here are some of my drawings from my last visits, feel free to post yours!:

Oh man, Ariel would be cool. I asked if they do any humans or characters from other movies (as much as I love the Fab 5) and they told me Dopey or something is as close as it gets. >:[

Like I said it was something I hear one time from a cast member to a guess that they do Ariel some times but not often.

Never seen Ariel done there, Grumpy is about the most complex character that is attempted. There is also Goofy & the Sandy Claws Jack during the holiday season.

To my understanding, the Animation Academy greeter has a list of scheduled characters to be drawn for the day.

One day, a family was informed the next session would be Jack Skellington, and this about 10-year old boy was flipping out with his family and collapsed on the floor from excitement. The CM was quite amused as well.

              HAHAHAH aww!

I've drawn Piglet, Pluto, Jack Skellington, Pooh, Mickey, Daisy Duck, Donald, and I think I've also drawn Tigger, but I can't remember.

At WDW, I've drawn Donald, Goofy, Pluto, and classic Mickey.

No, they give you a piece of paper, a pencil, and big plastic board that you use to draw on. It's free too, so don't worry about that.

i've done pooh and jack skellington. i was a little disappointed to hear we were doing jack b/c i wanted a more complex character. as we were leaving they said "the next character we'll be drawing is dopey" i was like aawww!!!! that would have been great! but we had other attractions to get to.

It's in DCA at the Animation Building. The class is fun.
We've done it a couple of times. I've drawn (and not very well) Jack Skellington, Pluto, and Donald Duck. Maybe 1 or 2 others, but I can't remember for sure.
Here's just a little bit more about it

                              Re: Animation Academy Characters?

I love the Animation Academy! I go all the time. One day I spent something like 4 hours there because I wanted to do them all.
I think I have done them all so here they are...
                              Mickey
                              Minnie
                              Donald
                              Daisy
                              Goofy
                              Pluto
                              Pooh
                              Tigger
                              Piglet
                              Jack
                              Dopey
                              Grumpy

Piglet and Pluto are new additions, Jack used to be seasonal, but now is a regular, and the dwarfs were added for Snow White's 75th and also stuck around. Mickey is always first and Pooh last. I don't know if there is a particular order for the rest. There is a "class" every half hour. I always highly recomend this attraction to every one.
