  • [Fun] Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters Guide

    Along side being a TSMM expert, I am a BLAB expert as well. I am able to achieve 1,000,000 without stopping since December 2007.

    Although there are no annotations in this video, it shows the complete ridethrough of BLAB, along with the high value targets and how to activate the hidden blue triangle in the last room.

    YouTube - Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters

    Please note these as you ride the ride:

    Once a target is lit and you shoot it. It will REMAIN its lit value until you miss. A crucial key to hit 2,000,000 without stopping.

    In the beginning after the "karate chopping" orange robot (it has the blue triangle and purple diamond on BOTH sides of its fists), there is a diamond to your very left. It is not shown in this video.

    The first big zurg, the one shooting at you on a pivot point. The green squares on its side. Once you shoot it, it will turn that way, making it easier for you to hit the 50,000 target. It is located in between his two breastplates.

    The last zurg, (finale room) also has the 50,000 point target. But, you can only hit it a maximum of three times. During the small turn to the left, that is the ONLY window of opportunity to hit that target.

    It is possible to attain 2,000,000 without stopping.

      I didn't know that you can only hit Zurg #2 a maximum of 3 times. I always try to hit him once but always miss and so usually I just opt for the triangle near his shoulder and the triangle that pops out on the left side of the room.

        What is the point value of the target on the orange robot's arm?

          What I have discovered:

          Circle = 100 Points
          Square = 100 Ponts, 5,000 if lit
          Diamonds = 5,000 Points
          Triangles = 10,000 Points

              Where is the 50,000 target on the final zurg?

              And by final zurg, do you mean the zurg in the toy box or the one that buzz is shooting at?

              Also, my recommendation is to sit alone and test for both guns to see which has the brighter lazer. If they're equally bright, check for the one that is more accurate.

                  Addendum to above: the four semi-hidden diamonds in the dark tunnel: 3,000

                  It's just like the one on the first Zurg. Because you're almost twice as far away, it takes very careful aim to hit it. I've heard of people standing up to get a better shot, but it isn't necessary. As for the second Zurg, he's the same size and looks pretty much the same as the first one.

                  This is a good idea. A dim laser makes targets harder to hit at an angle.
