  • Haunted Mansion Headstones

Not sure if anyone can help with this but it's worth a try. I am making some headstones to add to my Halloween display this year and wanted to have some cleaver epitaphs. I remembered the Haunted Mansion had some great ones. Does anyone remember any of them? Any help is greatly appreciated!

I don't know if this one is in any of the HM's or not:

Here lies the body of Lester Moore.
Took six shots from a .44
      No Les, no more.

My Avatar actually contains one from up in the hill in back of the outside queue. It is a little hard to read but says: "Brother Dave, He Chased a Bear into a Cave." I also remember, "Good Ol' Fred, A Great Big Rock Fell On His Head." There was many more but I'm sure someone else can give you the full list. On another note, these headstones and epitaphs where created behind the Imagineers who worked on the ride and the design of the Haunted Mansion (ala the windows on Main Street).

There is also a crypt along the way that has clever little names on them (ie: M.T. Tomb, Asher T. Ashes, Pearl E. Gates and others).

Here is a site that has a "walk-thru" of Walt Disney World's Haunted Mansion, this might help your project: http://www.grimghosts.com/wdw/page2.html
        Good Luck!
