They use to do that on the balcony of the Disney gallery. Since that is now the apartment / hotel room i dont believe they do it anymore. It was 50 a person when we did it. Just call guest relations and see what they still do.

the balcony @ the Disney gallery used to offer this very feature. I’m not sure if guest services still has the seats by haunted mansion. It's been a while since i had the opportunity to go.

There's a roped off area by Magnolia Gardens where you can do a dessert/viewing.

It's pricey (don't remember) but the desert is quite generous and comes with coffee, cocoa, or soda I think.

You can also watch the fireworks from there.

Yeah I did this back in Christmas of 04. It mabye expensive but the view, amd the dessert is worth the price.

They should still have this when Fantasmic! returns in June.

                It was $59.00 in March.

In June of 2006 my father and I went to the disneyland resort for my graduation trip. We sat in the desert viewing area right down by the water. It was a little pricy but you got as much dessert as you wanted. It was during the 50th celebration and they served the dessert buffet on plastic 50th anniversary plates that we got to keep I suggest doing the reservations early by calling the special line for it from the dlr. And also get to the viewing area early that way you can choose what seats you would like...Also I would sugest taking the first viewing of fantasmic as they let you remain in the area for the fireworks and it is a great view for that as well!!

The viewing is still available along the water on the second tier of the viewing area in front of mansion/french market. It is $59, included a dessert tray, and a beverage. I think you can book it through ticketing at 714-781-4400, or if not there try Disney Dinning 714-781-DINE.

They let you stay in you seats for the fireworks, but you can't see Tinkerbell.
