This is excellent news! There are all sorts of good changes to the park that we were promised when Hell froze over.
Hey, any of you like MLP Fan Fiction? (Laugh now, but It's practice for being an author some day!)
Anyhow, check out my profile on fimfiction.net I'm Phoenix Quill there.
Thanks for sharing! I've been in there once before, and I always found the decor ... surprisingly ... dare I say, garish? It worked well for the time period, and I mean no disrespect to Lillian Disney. But not my cup of tea, personally.

I don't know why you would want to "blame" the decor on Lillian. It was Walt who was the Victorian fan, and Emile Kuri--Walt's personal interior designer, as well as a noted set designer--caried out Walt's Victorian vision. And as a fellow fan of Victorian architecture, style and decor, I think he succeeded admirably.
That was wonderful. As a young one, I often dreamed of spending the night in Uncle Walt's apartment (right here in Disneyland!) and waking up and having Uncle Walt bring me treats. He had already passed away by then, of course, but I still had that fantasy. I so wish he would have lived.
