  • Monsters Inc. "Soft-Opening"

    Hey guys,

This is my first post and it is very cool to be on Micechat. I am from NJ and planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort. I am a school teacher and was originally planning my trip for February 2006 in order to see the new Monsters Inc. ride. However, I think it would be cool to visit Disneyland during the holidays. I visited Disneyworld Christmas 2004 so the XMAS crowds shouldn't bother me too much.

My question is what are the chances that Monsters Inc will soft-open Xmas week. (Dec. 26-Dec. 30). Al hinted that it would in fact be open in his last update, just wondering if anyone knew more?

    Thank you.

    Nick

As with all soft openings, nothing is guaranteed. Infact, it could be open a month before you go, close the day you get there, and then open again the day after you leave. Simply put, if you want to ride the ride 100%, go when it's officially open.

IMO the christmas decorations will be far nicer than what I'd imagine monsters inc will be. Dont expect too much from it.
